Frequently Asked Questions
Here you'll find some of the most common questions clients have for me.
Why are you doing this?
I started working in car detailing at a body shop four years ago while I was still in school, so I couldn't work there full-time. Eventually, the shop needed someone who could commit to full-time hours for detailing, which meant I couldn't do as much detailing work there anymore. I've always loved detailing cars—it's both an art and a that I enjoy. So, I decided to start my own detailing service. This way, I can keep doing what I love and also work towards turning my passion into a full-scale business.
What products do you use?
I try my best to have high quality products, while also making them budget friendly to ensure I can keep my details at a low price. I use AMMO NYC's Lather Interior Cleanser as my all purpose cleaner (APC). I use Chemical Guys' Silk Shine Protectant as my trim protectant, I use Meguiar's Leather cleaner and Meguiar's Leather Conditioner on the leather seats. For glass I use Sprayway's Glass Cleaner.
What equipment do you have?
I have just about anything an interior detailer would need. I have a steamer, extractor, shop vac, and all the chemicals and towels I need.
What should I do before you arrive?
You will receive an email with more information 24 hours prior to the appointment. All I ask is that you have an outlet available, you're ready for me at the scheduled time, and you clean your car out of any loose papers, bags, bins, seat covers, ect.
